But what happens on the trip there? Most of us are listening to our favorite radio stations making that 405 traffic way easier to deal with. Wouldn't it be nice to check-in the music you're listening to? Well, you can. The app Soundtracking provides the answer. You're able to post the songs you're listening to on the social network as well as push it to facebook and twitter as well. If you don't know the name of the song, it does have a feature called Music ID that recognizes the song playing. I believe there library of music comes from those that an be found on iTunes. The recognition is pretty good with songs that have been out for a while. Those are the ones that mean the most to you anyways considering they've had time to marinate. You can also manually enter the artist and name of the song just in case you have a bad speaker or your friends won't stop talking long enough for your device to hear the music. You also have the ability to add a photos, location, and description. That way you can dedicate You Are My Lady by Freddie Jackson to that special someone and post a picture of when and where you first met.
The app manages to keep your interest by showing trending songs. Sometimes we need a little bit off inspiration. You can also follow your friends posts as well to get notifications and add them to your timeline of favorites. The app can search facebook, foursquare, and twitter for friends that have already started "Soundtracking" their lives. I've seen plenty of artists picking up on it. Snoop Dogg posts all the time. Let me know what you think about the app.
